Since 2002, the C&IM chapter has had “Santa in the Depot” for the children of Chatham. On the 1st Sunday in December, Santa has arrived at the Chatham Railroad Museum by a variety of methods, including a Model T Ford, a fire truck, and even by Amtrak. After Santa visits with each child and determines what they want, Santa’s elves give them a bag of “Goodies” donated by local merchants.
This free event for the kids is the chapter’s way of saying "thank you" to the people of Chatham for supporting the museum and our chapter.
Santa will arrive in 2013 on Dec. 1, at 1 p.m.
